Online robotics game to figure out the word. The robot in this interactive game moves around the grid following the instructions you see at the bottom. The instructions are: up, down, left, and right, and the robot moves sequentially, executing these instructions in order. It can only make one move at a time. Your mission is to figure out the word the robot spells out using the moves indicated at the bottom with arrows. Anticipate the moves and discover the hidden word. Visualize the robot’s path and note the letters it passes, which spell out a word. Read the letters the robot encounters along the way to determine what the word is. Write down the letters and form the word on the robot’s sign in this introductory programming game, or robotics for kids. Recommended age: 7 to 10 years. Starting at age 7, children can follow sequences of instructions (basic programming). They need to recognize letters fluently and begin forming words. It requires visualizing movements on a grid (a spatial skill that develops in elementary school).
