Letter Hunters, Time Masters! This innovative educational project, designed for children ages 6 to 8, transforms students into true “Time Scientists.” Using the fun interactive game “Find the Matching Letter,” children embark on a playful mission to discover how their own brains work when processing visual information. The main goal is to help them understand that the speed at which we solve a problem is not constant, but depends directly on the number of variables we face. Often, young children get frustrated or nervous when a task progresses slowly in its early stages. Through this Project-Based Learning (PBL), children experience firsthand how, with a large number of letters scattered throughout the virtual classroom, their response time is naturally longer. However, as they solve the problem and clear the scene, their speed increases. Observing and documenting this dynamic in a practical way helps them demystify the initial “slowness” when facing any new challenge. Beyond the development of visual acuity and alphabet recognition, the true value of this project lies in emotional intelligence. Children formulate hypotheses, analyze their gameplay, and draw conclusions to create their own “Calm Strategy.”
