Who is it for?

This game is designed for children ages 7 to 8 and up (Elementary School), a school stage where the concept of fractions as parts of a whole is graphically introduced. It is an excellent resource for students primary learning this topic, as well as for teachers, parents, and therapists who need a visual and hands-on tool to help overcome difficulties in understanding fractional values.

Number of players.

It is played in single-player mode, which allows students to progress at their own pace, focus on the numerical and visual relationship of each puzzle piece, and self-assess without the pressure of direct competition.

What is it about?

The objective is to solve a puzzle by connecting mathematics and geometry. A puzzle piece appears on the screen alongside a numerical fraction (such as 1/2 or 3/4); the player must drag that piece toward the circular sector that graphically represents the same quantity. Once all the pieces are correctly placed, a picture of animals is revealed and the next level unlocks.

What skills are developed?

Mathematical competence: Identification of whole-number fractions and comprehension of numerators and denominators.
Spatial and geometric reasoning: Visual interpretation of circular sectors and proportional areas in charts.

How to make the most of it?

To maximize its educational potential, it is recommended to ask the child to state out loud, before dragging the piece, how many equal parts the circle is divided into (denominator) and how many of them are colored (numerator).
