Who is it for?
This educational game is recommended for children aged 5 to 6 and up, specifically targeted at the kindergarten and early elementary school levels. It is an ideal resource for students introducing themselves to mental math, as well as for math teachers seeking visual support tools. It is also highly useful for parents wanting to reinforce basic arithmetic independently at home, and for educators or therapists working with dyscalculia or structural concepts of numerical quantities.

What is it about?
Developed by Digipuzzle, this interactive game challenges players to complete addition problems with whole numbers from 0 to 10 where one of the addends is missing. The mechanic is straightforward: the player must identify the missing value and drag the correct number onto the question mark. To assist in solving the math problem, a linear grid of countable animals and objects is displayed to visually represent the numerical sets.
What skills are developed?
- Basic math competence: Introduction to addition, number decomposition, and mental arithmetic with numbers 0 to 10.
- Subitizing and counting: Associating visual elements (animals) with their corresponding abstract symbolic representation (numbers).
- Simple equation solving: Understanding the structure of an arithmetic operation when the unknown factor is an addend.
How to get the most out of it?
For collaborative classroom use, pair up students and have one classmate temporarily block the visual grid of animals with their hand; the other student tries to solve the addition mentally, and if they hesitate, the partner uncovers the counting elements to help verify the answer through active counting.
