Graphs of Quadratic Functions
Graphs of Quadratic Functions. Graphing quadratic equations is Phet Colorado's interactive simulation in which you can experiment by modifying the values of a, b and c in the quadratic equation, and instantly observe how the representation changes. This game helps you understand the graphical representation of the quadratic function. It has four modes of interaction, with elements such as the focus, the vertex and the directrix of the resulting parabola. You can ask your students to represent some quadratic functions and send you a screenshot. Using the yellow button with the camera icon, you can make a copy of the graph and modify the variables, so that you can compare two graphs at the same time.
