From the surface, you have a pincer that is swinging, like a pendulum, and you have to decide when to throw the pincer underground to pick up the gold deposits in the mine. Decide on the timing, it's the key to the game of picking up gold. You must be extremely precise so that the hook picks up the gold instead of bones or explosives.
