Fractions Lab

Fractions Lab is an interactive online game to learn and become familiar with fractions. The concepts that can be worked on are: fractions, equivalent fractions, improper fractions and the real line or number line. The objectives of this interactive math activity are to predict how the value of a function changes when the numerator and denominator change, to know how to identify the graphical representation of fractions, to convert a fraction to a graph and vice versa, and to compare fractions with patterns. The mathematical competencies to be worked on are: NF.A.2b, 3.NF.A.2a, 3.NF.A.2, 3.NF.A.2, 3.NF.A.1, 3.G.A.2, 2.G.A.3, 1.G.A.3.
