Calculate Mean, Median, Mode and Range
GAME INFO
An online math game in English for calculating the mean (arithmetic mean), median, mode, and range. It generates random sets of numbers; first, sort them on the timeline. If they aren’t sorted correctly, the game won’t let you proceed. Once you’ve sorted them, you must calculate the four statistical measures. You can use the help section to learn or review what each measure is and how to calculate it. Use the virtual calculator or your own calculator to calculate the arithmetic mean (average), median, mode, and range. To calculate the mean, add the numbers and divide by the number of values. The median is the number in the middle of the set, or if the set is even, the sum divided by 2. The mode is the number that appears most often, and the range is the difference between the maximum and the minimum.
