GAME INSTRUCTIONS
What is the goal of the game?
The Spanish Typing Adventure game consists of reading and typing a 10-chapter story featuring Finn and Leo on a mysterious treasure hunt. To play, users observe the cursor position and type the on-screen text in Spanish. The game does not require retyping a letter when a mistake is made; instead, it marks the error instantly and lets the user keep typing, calculating the accuracy rate, percentage of correct keystrokes, and speed in words per minute (WPM) at the end of each chapter.Recommended age and educational level
Recommended for ages 8 and up (Elementary School / 3rd Grade+), as it requires fluent reading skills and basic keyboard familiarity. It serves as an ideal tool for students developing touch typing skills, as well as teachers, parents, and occupational therapists working on sustained focus, reading fluency, and emotional regulation. No prior technical knowledge is needed, though it effectively builds frustration tolerance and patience by teaching players to ignore past errors and focus on current cursor placement. How to play: single-player or multiplayer
This is a single-player game intended for personal practice and skill building. However, it easily transitions into collaborative classroom activities, where educators can host team competitions, speed challenges, or shared story readings chapter by chapter. What is learned from this game?
