Math equations with matchsticks is an online game that presents a simple equation at each level, initially involving addition and subtraction, with a straightforward and different statement at each level. You must remove one or two matches, or the number indicated in the statement (in English), so that the equation is correct. This is a more challenging game than making squares or shapes, because you don't know in advance what numbers or expressions you will have to use. You also play with the variable of possible options, given the initial matches, which equations could be valid by moving the number of matches indicated. It also works with the representation of numbers called “7-segment display,” widely used in electronic devices such as LED diodes or LCD screens.
