GAME INSTRUCTIONS
What is the objective of the game?
The Halloween Ghost Typing and Decorating game consists of typing the displayed words accurately to unlock costumes and accessories for two ghost characters. For every three words correctly typed, a random accessory is awarded—such as hats, bows, crowns, spiders, or skulls—which players can drag and drop to dress up the ghosts. If a mistake is made while typing, the backspace key allows players to edit and correct their entry.Recommended age and educational level
Recommended for ages 6 and up (Elementary School / Grades 1+), when students have established foundational reading skills and are building keyboard familiarity. It serves as an engaging tool for students practicing early touch typing, as well as teachers and occupational therapists integrating seasonal literacy center activities. No prior typing speed is required, only basic letter recognition on a standard keyboard. How to play: single player or multiplayer
This title is designed primarily as a self-paced single-player creative activity. However, it functions effectively as a collaborative team exercise where one student acts as the typist to earn rewards while a partner acts as the stylist directing the character design. What do you learn from this game?
